Jean-Philippe Duchesneau – Lawyer, entrepreneur, and AI enthusiast. Co-owner of Groupe Écorécréo, creator of Voiles en Voiles, and Vice-President of the AI and Tourism Working Group. Known for applying AI in tourism innovation.

Pierre Bellerose – Tourism pioneer and co-founder of MT Lab. Former senior executive at Tourisme Montréal. Current chair of the AI and Tourism Working Group. 2025 King Charles III Coronation Medal recipient.

Experience Wiinipaakw Tours

A guided cruise on James Bay, led by trained Cree captains. Participants learn firsthand how Wiinipaakw Tours is setting a precedent for sustainable, community-owned Cree tourism.

Designed as both an experiential workshop and an inspiration for tourism entrepreneurs, the tour showcases:

  • Community-owned business models
  • Ecotourism rooted in Cree knowledge
  • Authentic hospitality and wellness through nature

This unique activity is a living example of how land, people, and purpose come together in Cree tourism.
