20th AGM & Tourism Conference

Invitation to Cree Outfitting and Tourism Association (COTA) &
Eeyou Istchee Tourism (EIT) ’s Annual General Meeting

In this time of pandemic that we are currently experiencing, it is important to focus on the things that matter to us, the safety of our families and communities. To ensure that everyone remains safe, COTA and EIT will hold a virtual AGM on the morning of November 26, 2020, from 9:00 to noon. We are pleased to invite you to join us on this occasion. We are currently working with the Tourism Officers or the Economic Development Officers to have a conference room available in each community for our members that don’t have access to good internet connection or for the ones that simply wish to gather.

In order to helps us to plan and take care of the necessary tasks for that meeting, we ask you to register before November 4th, 2020, either by:

  • By email to Julie Simard, Assistant to the Executive Director; jsimard@creetourism.ca or in sending the registration by fax at 418-745-2240
  • With the Tourism Officer or Economic Development Officer of your community

On the day of the AGM, we will draw $100 from all registrations made before November 4th.

We also want to mention that due of the COVID-19, we have renewed the membership of our members that were in good standing for the year 2019-2020 at no charge. Even with the pandemic, COTA/EIT continues to work hard to develop projects that will benefit our communities and our members. If you are not sure of your status please free to contact us.
